This issue is about love that suffers. It's love in captivity, it's love that is divided by tough circumstances, cruelty, injustice, and Russia's desire to destroy everything that is out of control and fight against the system.

Vasyl Stus was a Ukrainian poet, translator, literary critic, journalist, and an active member of the Ukrainian dissident movement. For his political convictions, his works were banned by the Soviet regime and he spent 13 years in detention until his death in Perm-36 — then a Soviet forced labor camp for political prisoners.

This is the second zine in the series "Love letters to Ukrainian poetry."

The main idea is to combine Ukrainian poetry with visual research
on love manifestation. Each zine is a different depiction of love
and you can take all those feelings with you simply by wearing
zine as an accessory.

Scope of work: editorial design, illustration
